BacklotCars is an online marketplace for auto dealers, we are modernizing the last part of the auto industry not touched by technology......wholesale auctions!

We are Kansas City's best kept startup secret and one of the most explosive early stage companies in region.

Since launching in 2016 we have sold $100m in cars and have expanded into 8 states. The BacklotCars family also grew to 40 last year and looking to hit 100 employees in 2018.

We are a graduate of 500 Startups, a prestigious startup accelerator in Silicon Valley and have investors from all around the world!

We are pumped for 2018 and are now looking to expand our team here in KC and across the midwest! 

We're looking for business-savvy, strategic individuals that are excited to shake up the wholesale auto industry with us! Looking for well-experienced phone sales superstars, preferably with experience selling services to auto dealerships. 

We're currently hiring Buyer Account Managers in Kansas City. Successful candidates will be responsible for buyer account development and retention, as well as new client acquisition within their set regions.

This person would manage all buy side activities within their region and responsible for driving new market launches

This position has potential for exemplary growth as our company grows.

What you'll do


  • Customer/market prospecting and development of strategic, targeted sales campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships.
  • Track daily, weekly, monthly call activity and performance measurements against goals and sales targets using CRM software.
  • Internal communication and team work with other buy-side managers, market general managers and lead inspectors.
  • Understand the competition/market, and have a keen awareness of changes and trends in the auto industry.

What you'll need


Experience in sales development & account management, phone sales experience required

Proficient use of CRM software

Experience with selling to car dealerhsips and/or within the auto sales industry would be considered a definite asset

Experience working at a start-up is a plus, but not required
